Access to Learning
With the National education Plan 2021-2029, the major outcome is that all Papua New Guinean children are provided with an opportunity to enroll in an Early Childhood Education program to ensure their full school readiness for entry into the formal education system. With this intention, we are providing learning firstly focusing on Kamano 2 LLG area which is located in Kainatu District of Eastern Highlands Province. It has 8 of wards and shared boarder with Okapa, Henganofi, Lufa and Obura Wonenara District. We have 29 early childhood centres working alongside churches.
We use Jolly Phonics which uses the synthetic phonics methods that teaches letter sounds and gives basic skills in reading and writing. In the first year of teaching, the sounds are taught in a fun and multisensory ways. Jolly phonics is taught using five skills for reading and writing.

Education is more than just literacy and numeracy, it is enabling teachers and children to feel empowered and gain confidence, to want to make a difference in this world. We seek investors and donors to enhance the learning experience and to eventually provide the children with enhanced resources to support their learning journey.
